HEROS stands for Healing, Education, Reconciliation, Openness, and Support. The HEROS Program is designed for people who are in recovery and who have experienced trauma or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This co-occurring program helps people learn to simultaneously develop addiction and trauma coping skills.
To qualify for this program you must be a resident of Marin County, be diagnosed with PTSD, and have a history of substance dependence.
Fee is 100% covered by Marin County Mental Health. Referral and authorization required.
